About the event
Pooja is a queer, first-generation Indian-American woman whose lived experiences inform her compassionate and intersectional anti-oppression workshops. After practicing as a public defender for 7 years with The Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Practice, Pooja founded Boundless Awareness from her desire to address bias in the legal system, workplace bias, and everyday oppression.
In this experiential workshop we will guide participants through self-reflective exercises where they are asked to examine their own biases. Through examples and interactive exercises, participants learn to mitigate the impact of their own biases and develop tools to hold one another accountable.
