About the event

Angela Chee is an award-winning keynote speaker/emcee, media/communication coach, host/author of "The Power Of The Only" podcast and upcoming book (Early 2025) and a former TV news anchor and reporter. 



Angela leverages her 20+ years working in the media and speaking industry, her personal development work and experience coaching corporate and entrepreneurial leaders to help people step into the spotlight and their YOU, Amplified!® leadership.



Through her on-camera coaching and training programs she helps visionary leaders, executives and entrepreneurs own their power and their voice and amplify their message and mission. She helps them feel clear, confident and connected and be ready for any opportunity on-camera and off. Through her leadership/communication keynotes and workshops she helps individuals and organizations break through barriers, own their power and communicate more effectively.



Angela has worked in top TV markets from KCBS/KCAL-TV, and KNBC-TV in Los Angeles to Fox 6 and KNSD in San Diego. She has hosted shows for networks like E! Entertainment, HGTV (Home and Garden Television), Channel One News and helped launch Entertainment Tonight China.



She was the featured media mentor/expert on Lifetime’s “The Pop Game” and has appeared as an expert on a variety of local and national shows including The Today Show. Angela has also made appearances in the film Blades of Glory and the TV shows from No Ordinary Family to Heroes. She serves on the Media Advisory Board of the Asian Culture and Media Alliance and has been a guest lecturer at the USC Annenberg School of Communication.



Her speaking career began at 15, as “Miss California National Teen-Ager.” Now Angela presents keynotes and corporate trainings for Fortune 500 companies, universities, and professional associations on topics related to leadership, diversity, communication and media. 



Born on the East Coast and raised in Southern California by Chinese immigrant parents Angela also speaks Mandarin Chinese. She is a mother of two and a healthy foodie, who loves yoga, quotes and all things inspirational.
